Berkala Arkeologi Issue No. 2 November 2003 this time featured 13 articles. These articles are the result of research from several fields of prehistoric, classical, and Islamic studies. In addition, it also displays writings on the cultural resource management, folklore as archaeological data, as well as documentation of archaeological research results. From the results of the study showed the pattern of cave community, hinduization, stone cist burials, kalang people, classical shadow puppet art, brick temples, trade and mysticism, and some islamic antiquities in Yogyakarta. Writings on cultural resource management are discussing Sangiran sites and pesanggrahan buildings. While the documentation of the research results are discussing geography and digitization. Finally, hopefully these articles can be useful for the development of science in general and the field of archaeology in particular. Suggestions and criticisms from readers are welcomed for the progress of this journal.
