Berkala Arkeologi Volume 26 Edition No. 1 / May 2006 this time featured 8 articles. The writings are the result of research from several fields of study that include several descriptions, among others, about the transformation of archaeological data, the importance of archaeological resources for science and the development of archaeological resources as tourism objects. Among the writings in this edition are the results of recent research that is new data in archaeology, namely The Design and Role of Fort Sumenep, and Pottery Song Tritis: A Proof of Sustainable Settlement that archaeologists have never written before.
